Glass and Metal

This piece is a retrospective of America from my viewpoint on this land I call home. The feathers coated black represent all wildlife who have been affected by our greed for oil that has affected so many species. The Buffalo is clear to represent their visibility on our land that they once roamed in vast numbers. The pipe is red as if stained by the blood of Native Americans before us who sacrificed their lives to share peace and thanks with strangers. All of this covered in gold symbolizes the motives that got us here.
